Man killed in last week’s Clairemont crash identified

Authorities have identified a man killed last week in a four-car crash in the Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego.
Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 58-year-old San Diego resident, who died in the head-on collision, as Keith Glassman.
Glassman was driving his Kia sedan northbound on Genesee Avenue near Marlesta Drive, about 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday when a southbound Dodge SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and slammed into Glassman’s car.
The impact made the sedan to struck into another northbound Kia car, which was pushed up against a guardrail.
Glassman died in the accident and was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash.
The other two drivers also suffered injuries, including broken bones, abrasions, fractures, and bruising.
Police officials said the Dodge SUV driver was a 20-year-old man while the third driver was aged 48.
A fourth vehicle was also involved in the wreck, but it received less damage.
Video of the car wreck showed the fourth vehicle with rear-end damage, halted away from the three other mangled cars.
Investigators ruled out the role of alcohol or drugs in the crash.
