A big rig driver was killed on a Thursday morning when his vehicle struck into 91 Freeway’s center dividers. The driver died at the scene.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 3 a.m. on 91 Freeway’s eastbound side, close to Kramer Blvd. The crash ignited a fire and debris from the crash flew onto the westbound side. It caused damage to about five other vehicles, including flat tires.
All eastbound lanes were closed for two hours as crews cleared the scene of the crash.
No further information has been released on the identity of the driver or the cause of the crash. The collision remains under investigation.
